Make-A-Wish Calendar of Wishes
On December 8th, 2022, the Make-A-Wish foundation recognized Power Properties' contributions in their annual Calendar of Wishes Event. Power Properties has been a proud sponsor of Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta since 2005.
The local Calgary property management company owns a commercial space located in Calgary’s inner-city community of Richmond and for last 17 years, Power Properties has donated one of the commercial bays to the Make-A-Wish foundation rent-free. Providing free office space to Make-A-Wish, allows them to focus on what they do best. Transforming the lives of sick children, one wish at a time!
The Make-A-Wish website describes the annual event hosted each December, “The Calendar of Wishes, featuring larger-than-life advent calendars located in the downtown areas of Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, London, and Ottawa, raises awareness of the stories that fuel the passion of Make-A-Wish and illustrates how each wish is as unique and special as the child who wishes it.”
Make-A-Wish Southern Alberta has set up their Calendar of Wishes in Downtown Calgary at the Devon Tower (400 3 Ave SW), and can be found just outside the building. Passerbys can continue to enjoy the Calendar of Wishes until early January.
